Company Description At Streem, we are building the next generation SaaS platform to empower the commercial management of renewable energy assets. Our mission is to accelerate the energy transition by enabling asset managers, investors, and operators to extract more value from their renewable portfolios. Job Description Streem Energy is a fast-growing SaaS startup helping renewable energy asset managers optimize the performance and profitability of their wind and solar portfolios. We are looking for a Data Scientist (0–5 years experience) to develop, deploy, and maintain our core data and modeling capabilities. You will work on wind and solar production forecasting, revenue forecast anomaly detection, and pricing models, which are central to our product and value proposition. You will collaborate closely with the CTO, while remaining highly autonomous and owning topics end-to-end, from data ingestion to model deployment and monitoring. The role includes a strong product dimension, requiring close interaction with product and business stakeholders to translate real-world needs into robust data-driven solutions. You will also play a key role in client interactions, explaining model behavior, analyzing results, and building trust in our forecasts and analytics. Qualifications We are looking for a highly selective profile with the following background and skills: Graduate from a top-tier engineering school or holder of a renowned Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Applied Mathematics 0–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, Applied Scientist, or similar role Strong expertise in machine learning, statistics, and time series modeling Solid data engineering skills: data pipelines, data quality, production monitoring, and scalable model deployment Proficiency in Python and modern data science ecosystems Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a fast-paced startup environment Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex results to clients and non-technical stakeholders Strong interest in renewable energy, energy markets, or climate tech A strong plus: Knowledge of meteorological models and weather data Experience with wind and solar forecasting Familiarity with generative models or advanced ML techniques Experience with pricing models or revenue forecasting Previous experience in a SaaS or deep-tech startup
