The position

We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer (m/f/d) for our Data & Analytics team to support our data strategies.

In your daily work, you will focus on developing data-driven applications and have the opportunity to contribute to various projects.

Our Data & Analytics team enables our clients to achieve sustainable growth by facilitating their transition from intuitive to objective decision-making through reliable data collection, the implementation of a suitable data infrastructure, and effective data initiatives.

Be responsible for:

Building high-quality data warehouses, cloud infrastructures, AI workflows, etc.
Integrate data from different systems into flexible and consistent representations.
To examine and evaluate the long-term impacts of AI use cases and their implementation
Ensure that all employees and IT systems in the company have easy access to data via various frontends and interfaces.
In an agile software development process, we work in close cooperation with the teams from the areas of analytics, product development and software development.
Work in a great cross-functional team environment and thus have an impact on the business.

Your profile:

Genuine interest in data and algorithms, and enthusiasm for solving difficult business problems through scalable data products.
Knowledge of version control systems, web technologies, software, best practices in analytics engineering and data engineering, as well as the functionality of database systems.
Solid experience with SQL, Python and dbt
Experience with machine learning and/or AI is an advantage.
Optional: The ability to translate data science into something that creates business value.
Willingness to learn (we know that you can "fly at least one type of aircraft", and we will provide you with numerous types and variants of that aircraft)
Good communication skills in German and English (native speaker or near-native speaker level)
A degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
