RESPONSIBILITIES Syntelligent is seeking a Data Scientist to support a Government Customer   Location: DIA HQ / 200 MacDill Blvd SW, JBAB, Washington, D.C. Shift: Day Anticipated Salary Range: $120000 - $135000 Status: Full-Time Opening Type: Immediate Number of Openings: 1   Duties will include: * Conducts data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis, and uses scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products, enabling more informed analytic decisions.  * Proactively retrieves information from various sources, analyzes it for better understanding about the data set, and builds AI tools that automate certain processes.  * Duties typically include  * Creating various ML-based tools or processes, such as recommendation engines or automated lead scoring systems. * Performs statistical analysis, applies data mining techniques, and builds high quality prediction systems.  * Should be skilled in data visualization and use of graphical applications, including Microsoft Office (Power BI) and Tableau; major data science languages, such as R and Python; managing and merging of disparate data sources, preferably through R, Python, or SQL; statistical analysis; and data mining algorithms. * Should have prior experience with large data Multi-INT analytics, ML, and automated predictive analytics. QUALIFICATIONS Required: * 5+ years of experience using data science programming languages, such as Python or R * Experience creating ETL pipelines, including querying APIs, cleaning and conditioning data, and creating schemas for data storage * Experience with version control tools, including Git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket * Knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning methods * Ability to design and develop automated analytic software, techniques, and algorithms * Ability to develop solutions, integrate, and extend free and open-source software (FOSS) or COTS products * Ability to generate data visualizations with tools, such as Kibana, Tableau, or Power BI * TS/SCI clearance and willingness to submit to a CI Polygraph * Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in data science, or 12+ years of experience in data science in lieu of a degree   Desired: * Experience working with GEOINT, HUMINT, MASINT, OSINT, and SIGINT, and the data and tools associated with these disciplines * Experience with intelligence or operations analysis in the DoD or Intelligence Community * Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL  * Experience working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Large Language Models (LLM) * Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2  * Knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins * TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph   Clearance: TS/SCI w/ CI Poly   Certification Requirement: None   Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.   Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.   ONLINE APPLICATIONS, PLEASE.
