DATA SCIENTIST TRAINEESHIP

WEBB Traders is looking for a final year master student to join our Risk team. You’ll play a role in elevating our risk management function to the next level. Collaborating on critical initiatives, you’ll develop world-class risk tools that identify weaknesses and opportunities, keeping the company safe while transforming controls into a strategic advantage.

YOUR ROLE

• Build risk, finance operations and compliance dashboards
• Visualise risk, finance, operations and compliance data to relevant stakeholders
• Analyse complex business problems and propose solutions or enhancements
• Provide clear, timely updates on planning and delivery. Monitor and manage continuous process improvements, addressing outstanding issues
• Respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders

Together with your mentor, you’ll work on a project besides taking part in the day-to-day tasks of the team. You will be building Python tooling for:

• Analysis
• Building an in-house historical finance database
• Creating real-time finance and treasury dashboard
