Xpressdocs is looking for a Data Scientist to join our dynamic company and lead our Data Services team. In this role, you will not only extract meaningful insights from complex datasets but also manage product ownership responsibilities, aligning technical developments with strategic business goals. The ideal candidate will drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions for Xpressdocs.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

  • Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights for improving technical decision-making and operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large datasets to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Execute A/B tests to validate and adapt data models to meet specific client needs.
  • Design and implement NLP pipelines using Python to enhance customer feedback classification and sentiment analysis.
  • Perform advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics, including Propensity to Sell, to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Utilize visualization tools like Tableau to effectively communicate insights through dashboards, scatter plots, and heatmaps.
  • Manage AWS data infrastructure, implementing indexing and partitioning to optimize query performance.
  • Execute SQL queries for customized data extraction and analysis supporting specific business and client requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive data mining to inform customer retention initiatives and targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain tailored KPIs aligned with client use cases and industry benchmarks.
  • Perform geospatial and time-series analyses leveraging data from MLS, CoStar, Zillow, and proprietary datasets.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of data pipelines from ingestion (ETL) to insights delivery via APIs or dashboards.
  • Design and conduct experiments to optimize product features such as property recommendations, buyer signals, and listing prioritization.
  • Define and manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks to align with business objectives, customer requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Develop data-centric product roadmaps informed by market demands and customer insights.
  • Prioritize product features based on potential impact, ROI analysis, and direct feedback from real estate agents, users, and stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key product metrics including prediction accuracy, conversion rates, and user engagement trends.
  • Advocate for data usability across various internal teams such as product, marketing, and sales.
  • Conduct market research and analyze user feedback to continuously refine products and identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to enhance data capabilities specifically for the MLS project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business objectives into data-driven solutions.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies, coordinating efforts across sales, marketing, and technical teams to facilitate successful product launches.
  • Collaborate across development, design, and marketing teams to deliver product roadmaps that meet strategic objectives.
  • Employ Agile methodologies using tools like Jira and Confluence to effectively manage project timelines and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities
  • Master’s degree (U.S. or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Data Science, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in data analytics or data science roles after master’s degree completion
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Deep understanding of real estate market dynamics, both residential and commercial.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate both technical model performance and business user needs effectively.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across business, technical, and domain-specific teams.
