Data Security Analyst

As a Data Security Analyst, you will be part of the Security, Risk and Governance department of Emerson’s Enterprise IT group.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU A PART:

• Power BI knowledge.
• 1 or 2 years of work related experience.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE

• Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining data security tools and systems, such as: DLP, CASB, SIEM, Data Encryption, etc.
• Working with vendors to implement and support data security solutions, including fixes and upgrades.
• Collaborating on the DLP rule development lifecycle including policy development, response rules, and maintenance
• Monitoring and responding to alerts generated from DLP systems and other technologies.
• Maintaining DLP technology, configuring policies, and compiling reports for analytics.
• Contribute to the documentation of DLP processes, guidelines, and standard methodologies.
• Stay informed about emerging threats and industry standard processes in DLP to provide input for continuous improvement.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• General understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) concepts, tools, and technologies.
• English B2.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Identifies and creates the process necessary to get work done.
• Works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
• Pushes self and helps others achieve results.
