Description

The Data Security Architect is responsible for designing the overall data security strategy and ensuring that data protection measures align with business and regulatory requirements. They work with IT, compliance, and security teams to define policies and frameworks for securing sensitive data against evolving cyber threats.

CONTRIBUTING YOUR STRENGTHS: YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years in cybersecurity, preferably in Network Security Architecture.
  • Following certificates are preferred; CISSP, GIAC, TOGAF as well as Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • English is a Must, German and French are a plus
  • Understanding of AI/ML data protection, and API security
  • Experience designing data security for cloud, multi-cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust principles and data-centric security models
  • Deep expertise in data security frameworks and Standards (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy data security architectures using encryption, PKI, DLP, and access control mechanisms
  • Define data security frameworks for on-premise, cloud, hybrid environments, and SaaS Applications
  • Oversee the selection and deployment of encryption, tokenization, and data masking tools
  • Develop Zero Trust data security models and define data segmentation policies
  • Implement security controls for big data, AI/ML models, and IoT environments
  • Define data classification and security policies aligned with GDPR, ISO, NIST and further gloabal regulations
  • Define security models for cross-border data transfers and third-party integrations
  • Collaborate with IT, Data Governance, Data Protection Officers (DPOs) teams
