We are seeking a dedicated Data Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing systems, implementing necessary updates, and supporting the evolution of our data ingestion and consumption processes to meet growing needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Data Software Engineering
• Proficiency in PySpark
• Knowledge of the Azure cloud stack
• Expertise in working with large and complex datasets
• Capability to work in a team and collaborate with various stakeholders
• Background in data systems maintenance and enhancement
• Understanding of ongoing changes in data consumption needs
• Skills in addressing and analyzing complex data issues
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level

• Maintain and enhance existing data systems
• Develop enhancements for the current Data Platform
• Implement required changes to support expanding data consumption needs and ingestion
• Address complex data issues and perform root cause analysis in the Generated Business Record (Gold layer)
• Collaborate on the implementation of new demands from Data Consumers or the Platform team
• Work with complex datasets, including creating new datasets from scratch
• Collaborate with senior team members on complex projects, especially when integrating large new datasets
• Adapt to emerging tools and methodologies in the technological landscape
• Engage in development support for existing pipelines to resolve challenging data issues
