The role will develop and manage the data solutions and leverage that data to visualise and communicate insights effectively, in collaboration with stakeholders. The data specialist will also help ensure that innovation is an area of focus, continuously enhancing and modernising our data practices and capabilities in collaboration with members of the data community whilst ensuring that products and services meet high standards of security, performance, and reliability. This role is a 6 month fixed term contract. Day to day you will: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytical solutions. Integrate and manage data from various sources (including API’s) using ETL processes. Produce BI reporting solutions and support data models in operational data stores. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and provide reliable solutions. Ensure optimal performance and security of data products. About you: Expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Power BI, PowerShell and Azure Cloud. Strong background in database development, data warehousing, SSIS & SSAS. Familiarity with Event Driven Architecture using Azure services (Event Hubs & Function Apps) Coding experience inPython and working knowledge of Azure DevOps & pipelines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Professionalism, organisational skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
