Description

As a Data Specialist for the In-Custody & Re-Entry Services program you will be responsible for accurately entering and managing client information and treatment data. In addition to data management, you will provide administrative support to the treatment teams, ensuring that records are up to date and communication flows smoothly between internal staff and external organizations, such as direct treatment providers, Correctional Health-Addiction Medicine Services, and criminal justice staff. Your role will help facilitate the continuity of care by maintaining organized records for the Director of In-Custody & Re-Entry Services and Program Managers, as well as assisting in the record keeping.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be proficient in Excel
  • Conditional Formatting
  • Creating and Formatting Tables and Pivot Tables
  • Creating Formulas for Data Tracking
  • Creating Data Charts and Reports as Needed
  • Proficient in SharePoint, along with an above-basic understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), is needed.
  • Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or office management, preferably within a healthcare or correctional environment, is essential.
  • A strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping is necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, are required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, staff, and external partners, are important.
  • A solid understanding of and adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations related to handling sensitive information is crucial.
  • The ability to identify issues and troubleshoot problems related to data management and administrative processes is needed.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including treatment teams, management, and external organizations, is essential.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in handling changing priorities and working in a dynamic environment are required.

EDUCATION:

  • An associate’s degree or higher in Administration, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
