Job Summary The Data Strategist 2 is a key role in the transformation of business. The Data Strategist will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and business growth. This position involves analyzing complex healthcare data sets, developing data-driven strategies, and collaborating with various departments to implement data solutions that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient outcomes. This role will require governance by the Analytics Center of Excellence processes (Hub and Spoke model). Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital, Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with Business Intelligence Tools and Software (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Python, SQL, etc.). Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions Analyzes healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, leading to actionable recommendations. Identifies and addresses inefficiencies in healthcare processes and workflows within varied healthcare domains such as operations, quality, etc. Collaborates with stakeholders to optimize efficiency and streamline processes. Ensures adherence to processes governed by the Enterprise Analytics Center of Excellence. Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business goals and improve operational efficiency. Design and maintain data models, reports, and presentations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing best practices in data management and governance. Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and technology to continuously improve data strategies. Provide training and support to team members on data analysis tools and techniques. Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field. Three (3) years of related technical experience. Proven experience in data analysis, data strategy development, and data management.
