About the Role Software Finder is looking for a Data Strategy & Market Intelligence Specialist to support the organization’s data expansion efforts across multiple SaaS categories. This role focuses on market analysis, vendor evaluation, and data sourcing strategy to ensure scalable and reliable lead generation across new and existing verticals. This is a strategic and execution focused role suited for someone who can connect market insights with data operations, and independently drive research, evaluation, and sourcing decisions that directly impact growth. Key Responsibilities Conduct market research across SaaS categories to identify expansion opportunities and data gaps Develop Total Addressable Market models to estimate opportunity size across different segments Identify, evaluate, and benchmark potential data vendors based on quality, coverage, and scalability Assess current data infrastructure and determine readiness to support new vendor verticals Design and recommend data sourcing strategies across external vendor procurement and internal data extraction Work closely with data operations to align sourcing priorities with ICP requirements and campaign demand Analyse vendor performance and continuously optimize sourcing strategies for efficiency and cost effectiveness Maintain documentation of data sources, coverage, and performance benchmarks Monitor industry trends, emerging vendors, and changes in data availability Support leadership with insights and recommendations for market entry and expansion decisions Qualification & Skills 2 to 4 plus years of experience in market research, data strategy, business intelligence, or a related role Strong analytical skills with experience in market sizing, segmentation, and trend analysis Experience evaluating third party data vendors or working with external data sources is preferred Proficiency in Excel for modelling, analysis, and reporting Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights Strong research and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work cross functionally with data, marketing, and growth teams
