As part of the VDC Team, the Data Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining organized and up-to-date databases and data sources, contributing to the overall efficiency of our project operations. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Collecting, processing, and validating large datasets from multiple sources using different tools and APIs Analyzing data trends to support strategic decision-making Creating and Maintaining dashboards and visualizations using Excel and Power BI Writing queries and automating reports using Excel VBA and Python Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions Report on any data-related issues or concerns Preparing reports and presenting insights to stakeholders Using statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and time-series forecasting Other duties as assigned Show your expertise Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science or equivalent Additional Education is a plus 3+ years of experience Non-Degreed Equivalent experience will be considered Strong attention to detail and organization Proficient in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Excel and Power BI Python Experience Web-API Experience a plus Highly adept at interfacing and aligning multiple stakeholders with diplomacy Reaches out, willing to collaborate, and values different opinions and perspective Ability to work independently and as part of a team Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
