Description JSI Cabinetry is a cabinet wholesaler and distributor with locations across the county. We are looking for a Data Technician to join our IT team. We are seeking a patient and methodical problem solver with strong organizational skills to manage multiple error queues. As the Data Technician you will be able to identify patterns to handle both routine tasks as well as collaborate on the creation of new items. Requirements Required Skills & Experience: 1-2 years of data entry or system support experience High school diploma required Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data management Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and bulk data manipulation Expertise in Excel functions including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, filtering, and data validation Ability to manage large datasets in Excel efficiently Ability to troubleshoot and resolve EDI suspended records related to Prophet 21 Experience investigating data mismatches and root causes Clear written communication for documentation and process mapping Self-motivated with ability to work independently on daily queues Core Competencies: Monitor and clear EDI transaction errors in ERP systems Update and maintain SKU cross-reference tables Create new item variants based on customer requirements (assembled, unfinished, etc.) Edit and deploy item kits and component relationships Manage bills of materials (BOMs) for cabinet assemblies Fix customer-to-internal SKU mapping issues Perform bulk data updates and analysis using Excel Document error patterns and frequency for automation opportunities Communicate vendor-related issues to coordination specialist Track and report daily suspended record resolution metrics Technical Competencies: Excel power user skills - complex formulas, macros, data import/export Ability to work with multiple system screens simultaneously Understanding of database relationships and data integrity Prophet 21 navigation (training provided) Experience with cross-reference tables and SKU management Ability to recognize assembly states and naming conventions Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Accident Insurance AD&D insurance Cancer Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability Paid time off 401(k) matching This position is 100% onsite Monday - Friday.
