What you´ll do Implements the strategy for the organization's IT team, nuturing a data driven culture within the organization actively promoting the BI supported toolstack usage and best practices implementation as well as acting as the primary contact of Global BI to the local BI teams and business including ensuring the assessment and fullfilment of Jeronimo Martins Group needsMore details about your future jobs Establishes key elements of tactical and operational plans with measurable contribution towards the achievement of results, focusing is on short-to mid-term operational plans Develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the job function strategy May have budget or P&L accountability for area of responsibility, or manage elements of the budget ; Manages a team, if applicable, directing and reviewing their work ensuring and promoting the necessary autonomy and independence in their assignments Typically has hiring, promotion and reward authority within own area, in accordance with superior review and approval ; Oversees the implementation of latest industry trends, global norms definitions, procedures and guidelines as well as to plan and coordinate all activities in order to provide technical assistance to multiple teams including a functional alignment to organizational, group and industry best practices ; Implements the design, development, maintenance scalability, automation of user-friendly systems including reports, dashboards and other services that support business needs, defining the global guidelines and ensures the alignment between the different reporting organzations ; Enacts the design and influence of the adoption of a data profiling and lineage technique to maximize the value of Jeronimo Martins data ecosystem metadata ; Oversees a long-term vision and portfolio of initiatives to improve the customer experience and business results through creating world-class metrics, analysis, visualizations, and data-driven storytelling, connecting with the wider group community of data professionals to remain current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to improve the data usage performance of the organization ; Promotes the data quality best practices between the local and global business intelligence teams ; Develops meaningful relationships with third party applications and services in order to better address the global data needs and initiatives
