Protegrity is seeking a passionate and talented Data Visualization Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with D3.js, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or TypeScript is a plus, especially for building custom Power BI visuals or embedded dashboards.
  • Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).

Qualifications:

  • 3 - 5+ years of hands-on experience in UX design and development within a BI or data analytics environment.
  • Build and maintain reusable Power BI themes to ensure visual consistency and branding across all reports and dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail that translates to clear and concise insights and visual interpretations.
  • Focus on driving and delivering business value.
  • Knowledge of Data Protection, Privacy and Security preferred.
  • BS in a relevant filed such as UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and developers to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive BI reporting visuals.
  • Design and implement user-friendly dashboards and reports that align with UX best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Optimize layout, navigation, and interactivity of BI tools to enhance user engagement and data comprehension.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to continuously improve reporting interfaces.
  • Ensure consistency in design elements, branding, and user experience across all BI platforms.
  • Work closely with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, performance, and scalability of reporting solutions.
  • Stay current with UX trends, BI technologies, and data visualization techniques including the use of AI forward technologies.
