Contract Terms: This is an independent contractor position compensated at $45-$55/hour depending on skill level and experience; no employment benefits or visa sponsorship are available. You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Level of Effort: The role will be structured around specific projects. Initial engagement is expected to be part-time (5-10 days per month), with the potential to expand to a fuller commitment as the relationship evolves.

Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a Data Visualization & Storytelling Specialist who can transform complex information into visuals and narratives that drive understanding and action. You’re the kind of person who can take a large dataset, find the signal in the noise, and communicate it clearly through a clean chart, an interactive dashboard, or a compelling visual story that helps decision-makers see the bigger picture.
You’re fluent in tools like Tableau, Power BI, R, and Python, and you know how to match the right medium to the message. You bring a design mindset as well as an analytical one, you care about accuracy and clarity, but also about usability and impact. You can explain uncertainty and nuance without overwhelming your audience, and you know how to tailor your visuals to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You’ve worked in consulting-style environments, where insights need to be timely, polished, and actionable. You’re comfortable collaborating across disciplines, working alongside evaluators, researchers, and subject matter experts, and you thrive when translating their work into outputs that spark engagement and support better decisions.
