DATA WAREHOUSE ADMIN

    The Data Warehouse Administrator, with moderate oversight, is responsible for operating, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise data resources such as data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts in support of the clinical, financial, operational, and research activities of TUHS. Works with more senior data warehousing staff, architects, developers, database administrators, and business stakeholders to ensure that enterprise data assets meet the needs/requirements of the organization. Will typically operate with some guidance to implement, test, and deploy ETL processes, data pipelines, systems integrations and interfaces to promote the effective movement of data throughout the organization. Ensures the availability and integrity of the enterprise’s data through activities such as designing and implementing data quality checks, creating and implementing data security, backup, and disaster recovery policies, and troubleshooting data and runtime issues. Involved in the documentation, implementation, and enhancement of standard operating procedures and best practices to optimize warehouse support activities.
    Education
    High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
    Bachelors Degree : in technical field (Preferred)
    Experience
    2 Years experience in database and information systems technology (Required)
    2 Years experience in SQL and other programming languages (Required)
    2 Years experience in data warehousing, data marts, data management or related field (Required)
    2 Years experience in ETL and data pipeline tools and frameworks (Required)
    2 Years experience in production support, system monitoring and troubleshooting (Required)
    General Experience and knowledge with analyzing, diagnosing, suggesting, and implementing process improvements (Required)
    General Experience with proficient ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve complex problems (Required)
    General Experience with cloud platforms and services (Preferred)
    General Experience with Unix and MS Windows OS (Preferred)
    General Experience with database/data store design (Preferred)
    General Experience with Business Intelligence, reporting, and dashboarding (Preferred)
    General Experience with Epic’s Cogito toolset (Clarity, Caboodle, Radar, Report Workbench, SlicerDicer) (Preferred)
    General Experience and knowledge working in a healthcare setting (Preferred)
    General Experience training and mentoring junior staff (Preferred)
