Description
The Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to architect and deliver dash boards and analytical applications integrated with SAP BW and other internal or external data sources. The role requires strong experience in data modeling, stories, visualization, and SAC security, along with working knowledge of SQL, Python, and machine learning. Business process knowledge of OTC and P2P is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Architect and design scalable data and analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Develop advanced SAC models (planning and reporting) with both live and acquired connections, integrating data from SAP BW and external sources such as SQL Create intuitive, interactive dashboards and visualizations using advanced charting and presentation techniques Build hybrid stories that combine data from SAP BW and other systems; ensure consistent and performant design Work with business stakeholders to troubleshoot reporting and data accuracy issues; collaborate on functional design. Guide and assist and train power users in troubleshooting creation of SAC models and stories. Modify and optimize BEx queries to support SAC models and connectivity requirements Implement and manage SAC security models and authorization frameworks Monitor data loads, process chains, and data flow between SAP, BW and SAC systems to ensure integrity and performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align analytics solutions with business needs, focusing on OTC and P2P business processes Apply data analytics and Excel expertise to derive insights, and leverage machine learning or predictive analytics tools where applicable Participate in SAC upgrades, feature testing, and deployment planning Maintain proper documentation of models, connections, and architecture decisions Contribute to solution optimization by exploring other tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) as secondary support options Area of Focus SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): architecture, story building, modeling, planning (preferred) SAP BW: minimum one end-to-end implementation, query and data model integration with SAC Data visualization and presentation techniques, advanced charting, and hybrid data source configuration SQL and Python for data transformation, validation, and scripting (preferred) Data monitoring and process chains SAC security management and upgrade planning Knowledge of OTC and P2P processes and data flow mapping between systems Qualifications Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline Preferred: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Analytics, Information Systems, or related field Movado Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
