Responsibilities: Collaborate with our Business Intelligence team to understand business reporting requirements and define denormalized schema for the warehouse Collaborate with our DBA team on capacity planning and deploying infrastructure resources Build and maintain ETL solutions that centralize data from disparate sources into a centralized data warehouse Collaborate with DBA, Security and Infrastructure teams to establish secure connections between data tiers Build and maintain ETL solutions that denormalize OLTP source data into reportable OLAP data Collaborate with stakeholders to RCA and remediate data and reporting defects and inconsistencies Establish monitoring and alerting solutions to support the data warehouse and related ETL jobs Requirements Skills & Experience: 3+ years of experience building and maintaining an enterprise data warehouse - defining data requirements, schema and building ETL solutions 3+ years of experience using ETL tools (e.g. SSIS, ADF) to move data between databases/servers/environments 3+ years of experience denormalizing OLTP data for a data warehouse - may include T-SQL views, stored procedures, functions and ad hoc scripts Experience optimizing T-SQL read and write performance in a large multi-terabyte data warehouse Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL Database Experience using Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse Analytics Familiar with message services (e.g. MSMQ, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) Familiar with source control, change control and security best practices Familiar with healthcare industry data or EHR systems (e.g. EDI formats, common EHR data elements, live EHR integrations)
