The candidate must meet the following requirements:

Database Engineer/Architect (Senior)

• 12+ years of progressive experience in database architecture and data engineering roles with increasing responsibility
• Successfully led enterprise-scale database transformation projects, including technology evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation
• Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional technical discussions and deliver compelling business cases to senior leadership
• Established comprehensive technical standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across multi-departmental organizations
• Supported complex database migration and modernization initiatives, including legacy system upgrades and cloud transformations
• Designed and implemented enterprise data integration strategies spanning multiple business lines and data sources
• Expert in architecting scalable data systems including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms
• Extensive experience with both on-premises and cloud-native database architectures across hybrid environments
• Architected comprehensive database security frameworks for highly regulated industries including healthcare, finance, and government sectors
• Knowledge of FISMA compliance requirements, including Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and continuous monitoring frameworks
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations with a proven track record of implementing compliant data governance programs
• Supported organizational security audits, remediation efforts, and established enterprise-wide data protection strategies with documented risk management processes
