Job Title: Database Administrator
Position Type: Full Time Term 37.5hrs/week
Location: Burnaby, BC
Start Date: ASAP, minimum 12-month term
Compensation: $63,511 to $71,506 per annum with industry leading benefits after probation.

We are currently seeking a Database Administrator to join our Administration team at our Head Office in Burnaby.
· Manages, monitors, and maintains the organization’s databases, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
· Makes changes, updates, and modifications to data as requested, always safeguarding accuracy and relevance.
· Ensures database integrity, stability, and system availability at all times.
· Assists the Director of Administration with database design, projects and development, contributing your expertise to create robust and scalable systems.
· Manages database access and updates user permissions to maintain secure and appropriate data use.
· Monitors data accuracy, proactively identifying and correcting discrepancies.
· Assists in implementing security measures that protect sensitive information.
· Produces and updates clear, user-friendly operating manuals.
· Provides coaching, training, support, and constructive feedback to database users, helping them work more effectively.
· Responds promptly to Help Desk inquiries related to database issues.
· Manages IP addresses and address books for networked printers to ensure seamless connectivity.
· Produces management reports covering areas such as attendance, hours worked, performance evaluations, training, and certifications to support decision-making.
· Archives data according to organizational policies and retention schedules.
· Keeps up to date with developments in technology to continuously improve database systems.
· Provides training to staff members on the organization’s databases, empowering them to use the systems with confidence.
· Participates in association’s health and safety programs.
· Performs other duties as assigned to support operational needs.
