OVERVIEW:

Creek Technology is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise database environments, pending contract award. The Database Administrator will ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with DoD ATO processes while supporting SCCM/MECM requirements and coordinating routine maintenance and patching.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Database Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting enterprise IT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems, administration best practices, and DoD compliance standards.
  • Experience coordinating patching, updates, and preventive maintenance in enterprise environments.

CLEARANCE:

  • Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain enterprise databases to ensure performance, integrity, and availability.
  • Manage local Organizational Units (OU) via mJAD and coordinate with system administrators for database operations.
  • Support SCCM/MECM tasks, including software deployment, updates, and reporting.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, patching, and routine database updates.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO processes, DoD security standards, and enterprise policies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to minimize downtime.
  • Document database architecture, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.
