About the Role Kyriba is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team of more than 200 engineers working together to bring innovative solutions to Kyriba clients around the globe. We are a team of passionate people motivated by agility, innovation and continuous improvement. Onboarded to the Database team, you will join a transversal team cross Engineering, Product & Operation responsible for the global reliability of Kyriba’s platforms. You will be responsible for planning, executing, following and reporting on cross-functional improvements. The successful candidate will be able to understand complex technical concepts, identify stakeholders, and communicate progress of projects. Job Description Functional DBA, able to understand and assist the Engineering & Business teams Assist with, support, and maintain AWS RDS Oracle & Postgres DB infrastructure activities Design, build, and support SQL queries and statements as needed Optimize SQL code and queries for production use and development activities Support application development teams with SQL tuning and code write optimization Ability to work in Pacific Standard Time (PST) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field. English fluency is required, both in written and oral form. Experience with specific project management tools (Jira, Confluence) 6+ years Oracle DB experience (19c) 4+ years PostgreSQL DB experience (v16+) 4+ years SQL performance tuning 4+ years SQL, PL/SQL and language writing 4+ years with DB tooling (EX: SQL*Plus, TOAD, EM, etc.) 4+ years in AWS and RDS Familiarity with AWS database offerings (MSK, RDS, marketplace, etc.) MongoDB experience would be an added advantage Additional Information We champion flexibility and hybrid work options to support varying lifestyles and personal needs.
