Description
Unity House of Troy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to support and manage access to the organization’s core technology systems.  Key Responsibilities User Access & Identity Management •    Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts across organizational systems •    Maintain role-based access controls aligned with staff job functions •    Conduct routine user access audits and security reviews •    Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data protection standards •    Document and maintain access control procedures •    Implement strong authentication and security practices Reporting & Data Oversight •    Generate system access and utilization reports •    Support internal and external compliance reporting •    Maintain documentation required for audits and regulatory reviews •    Track system licenses and software subscriptions Vendor & Systems Coordination •    Serve as the primary technical contact for EHR systems, Blackbaud, website hosting providers, and other technology vendors •    Coordinate vendor support requests, upgrades, and system maintenance •    Participate in vendor meetings and solution evaluations •    Assist with contract renewals and service monitoring •    Document vendor support processes Technical Support •    Provide Tier 2 technical support to staff across multiple locations •    Troubleshoot application errors, system access issues, and account permissions •    Support system access during employee onboarding and offboarding Digital Platforms & Security •    Manage administrative access to Unity House social media accounts •    Maintain secure credential storage and documentation •    Coordinate website administrative access with Development and Marketing teams •    Ensure proper permissions management for website CMS and hosting platforms •    Support implementation of cybersecurity best practices Qualifications: Required •    Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience •    3+ years of experience in systems administration, database administration, or application support •    Experience managing user access and identity management systems •    Experience working with software vendors and technical support teams •    Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills Preferred •    Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services environments •    Familiarity with Blackbaud products •    Experience supporting Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems •    Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards •    Experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace •    Relevant technical certifications Benefits:  13 paid days off in your first year for full time employment (increases every year). 56 hours of NYS Sick Leave,12 paid holidays plus 2 floating holidays Major medical leave, Medical/dental/vision/life insurance 403b company contributions after one year of employment Tuition reimbursement   50% reduction in childcare tuition at A Child's Place.
