Poznań-based opportunity with the possibility to work 100% remotely after 2 weeks onboarding!
As a Database Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the retail sector, focusing on a critical project involving the optimization and maintenance of their database infrastructure. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of their systems, supporting business-critical applications and providing reliable data access. You will be a key member of the IT team, contributing to the stability and performance of the client’s database environment. This position requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for database technologies. You will collaborate with other IT professionals and developers to deliver robust and efficient database solutions. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: MONITOR AND ADMINISTER DATABASES

• Resolve production incidents related to databases
• Develop new tools for process automation
• Monitor database processes
• Analyze and optimize database performance
• Cooperate with developers
• Administer backup systems
• Administer Windows Server (AD)

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position related to database administration
• Experience in installing, configuring, and managing MSSQL databases
• Knowledge of Oracle, MySQL (MariaDB) databases (Nice to have)
• Communication skills in English – reading technical documentation
• Knowledge of the Windows Server environment
• Knowledge of PowerShell
• A university degree with an IT or technical profile
