DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR- CAMP ATTERBURY, IN

Provide training and other support for the ARNG’s Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at the MTCs or through Mobile Training Teams (MTT). Provide and support realistic and demanding Live, Virtual, Constructive, and Gaming training for Soldiers, leaders and units from individual through collective Mission Command training in various operational and dynamic environments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s in CS.
• 3+ years DBA (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in database creation, modification, administration, testing, and maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain for a Secret security clearance.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Knowledgeable and experienced in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Manage, configure, and secure mission databases with administration and management of supported simulation systems.
• Create new or modify existing databases and supporting documentation to meet unit training objectives across the spectrum of operations.
• Configure the database to represent the task organization to be used in the exercise and verify that the established databases reflect the desires of the training units by direct coordination with the units.
• Test (loading, launch, and execution) each database, to include terrain, prior to delivery for the exercise.
• Identify, design, create, and access the requisite database necessary to maintain continuous operations in support of training objectives.
• Ensure availability, integrity, backups, and performance tuning.
