The National Security Sector at Leidos is seeking a Database Administrator to is to support the development of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 system operational manuals and training products created within databases associated with US Navy ships in support of Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS 5B).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires BS and 2+ years of prior relevant experience (additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree).
  • Excellent written communication and grammatical skills
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience working directly with operational SMEs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Clearance Required: must have and be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • System LAN operation and administration
  • Experience with NAVSEA programs and their lifecycle support
  • Travel may be required for this position
  • Experience working with S1000D or similar collaborative product data system
  • Experience working with Windchill, Arbortext or Notepad++
  • Experience working with Moodle, Blackboard or similar dashboard products

Responsibilities
  • Oracle database administrator
  • Proficient in developing ad hoc reports from database tables
  • Proficient with Linux, and script writing
  • Experience in understanding and applying DISA STIG guidance, and its impact on the database system
  • Ability to interact effectively with developers, system end users, and the US Navy Customer
