Kentro is hiring for a cleared Database Administrator to support an Intelligence Community customer in St. Louis, MO.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Oracle RDBMS.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using postgreSQL RDBMS.
  • Ability to create and run PowerShell applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience in Windows/Linux Administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience using Tomcat and JBoss Servers.

Responsibilities
  • Contributes to metadata standards and strategy in conjunction with data governance leadership by creating a data catalogue to inventory and organizing all of NGA data assets in the enterprise metadata repository.
  • Creates process and manage key agency projects to oversee that delivery is consistent with data governance guidelines.
  • Participates in IC driven Data Standards committees and team discussions regarding data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of customer Data Lakes and Warehouses. Designs and oversees development of stewardship dashboards and related reporting and workflows associated with the metadata tools.
  • Plans and manages the development of efficient metadata ingestion processes with the goal of keeping the enterprise metadata repository synchronized with source systems.
