DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

The Database Administrator configures and tunes SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Azure PaaS databases; sets up backup and high availability; and resolves performance bottlenecks.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4–7 years database administration
• BS degree
• DP-300 certification
• Security+ (IAT II)
• Active Secret clearance
• Compensation will be determined based on several factors, including relevant experience, education, skills, certifications, and market conditions, with an expected range of $100,000 to $122,000

• Install, configure, and harden SQL Server/PostgreSQL and Azure PaaS DBs
• Implement backup, recovery, and HA/DR strategies
• Monitor health, indexes, and query performance
• Troubleshoot blocking, deadlocks, and latency
• Support release cycles and schema changes
