Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator (Advanced) to support enterprise Oracle environments across development, testing, production, and cloud platforms. The consultant will play a key role in database monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) administration.
This role requires hands-on experience with Oracle 19c, Linux administration, schema design, Oracle EM, and cloud-based database operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle 19c database instances across dev, test, and production.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM).
  • Review and optimize database schemas, structures, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain Linux (Red Hat / Oracle) servers and automation (CLI, crontab).
  • Support OCI environments, ensuring database availability, reliability, and scalability.
  • Provide excellent customer service while collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Document processes, escalate risks, and ensure compliance with IT standards.
