ABOUT THE ROLE
Peraton is seeking a Database Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Herndon, VA. The qualified applicant will become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DOS) Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative will modernize and consolidate the operational environment under a common technology framework in order to better support the services provided to CA’s customers.
The Database Administrator will be responsible for understanding the Consular Systems Modernization (CSM) program technical requirements, architecture of the system, data model, interfaces and applications. As part of the modernization program, the Database Administrator will be responsible for the design, development, installation, and maintenance of database management systems to include data definition, data modeling, design and implementation, security, and monitoring. The Database Administrator will participate in development and solution enhancement activities as part of an Agile development team.
