Quiet Professionals LLC seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Database Administrator to join our team in Doral, FL.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance.
  • BA/BS in field necessary to assume Database Administrator duties or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 4 years of experience with 2+ years relevant Database Administrator experience.
  • Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimization.
  • DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or a Database Vendor Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Master (OCM), Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer–Associate, AWS Certified Database Specialty).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience supporting DoD programs, cloud-based technologies, Risk Management Framework, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • ITIL certification. Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator) are a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of databases, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security.
  • Performs a variety of intermediate database tasks, including performance tuning, backup and recovery procedures, security management, and user access control.
  • Proactively monitors database health and performance, troubleshoots emerging issues, and implements effective solutions to ensure database availability and reliability.
  • Collaborates with Application Developers and other IT staff to ensure database systems meet defined business requirements and operational needs.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of database standards, best practices, and operational procedures, promoting consistency and efficiency, while receiving guidance and direction from more senior staff.
