JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Database Administrator to join our dynamic team.

EDUCATION:

•  Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline or equivalent certification.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years as a Database Administrator.
• Proven experience with database standards and end-user applications.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Advanced knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, and SQL
• Strong familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
• Hands-on experience with DBA tools (frontend/backend) and third-party solutions.
• Proficiency in API integrations and programming languages.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to think algorithmically.
  Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

• Build and maintain high-availability database systems tailored to end-users’ roles and requirements.
• Design and implement databases that align with users’ information needs and viewpoints.
• Define user roles and enable secure, timely data distribution in appropriate formats
• Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.
• Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
• Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Monitor database performance and implement necessary changes.
• Apply new patches and software updates as required.
• Develop SQL scripts and create web services to facilitate communication between various applications
