(Employee Only Premiums for Dental and Vision are 100% Credit Union covered). * 100% Credit Union Paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance * Employee Assistance Program * Undergraduate and Graduate Tuition Reimbursement * In-depth New Employee Orientation showcasing Credit Union Values and Vision * A Think Big culture dedicated to performance excellence and continual growth Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities * Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments. * Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies. * Ensure high availability and disaster recovery through clustering, replication, backups, and log shipping. * Implement and enforce database security measures, including access controls and encryption. * Perform data migrations, transformations, and integrations between systems. * Develop and maintain scripts for automation of routine database tasks and maintenance. * Maintain comprehensive documentation for database systems, architecture, configurations, and policies. * Participate in incident response and root cause analysis related to data issues or outages. * Participate in process assessments and provide input on automation strategy and feasibility. * Design and maintain data models and schemas to support business intelligence and analytics requirements. * Develop and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to populate data warehouses and reporting systems. * Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver accurate, timely insights. * Maintain and administer BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, SSRS) including data refreshes, security, and performance. * Support the development and deployment of dashboards, KPIs, and ad hoc reports. * Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across reporting environments. Reports to: * Director of Enterprise Intelligence Education & Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience. * 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator in a production environment. * Strong proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server (2016 or newer), including SSMS and T-SQL. * Experience with backup strategies, recovery models, and performance tuning tools. * Knowledge of database security best practices and user permission management. * Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Redgate, SolarWinds DPA, SQL Monitor). * Understanding of high availability, replication, and clustering technologies. * Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS). * Familiarity with PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation. * Exposure to data warehousing, ETL processes, or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSIS). * Experience working in a financial services, banking, or credit union environment. * Experience with Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Visio, PowerBI. Other Skills: * Strong oral and written communication skills are essential to the position. * Ability to effectively deal with people under adverse and stressful conditions. * Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act. Work Environment:  * Hybrid role with two days in office per week.
