Description

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time skilled Database Analyst to support our Maintenance contracts across Australia. Based primarily out of the office in North Ryde, you will be responsible for ensuring that our Asset Management Information Systems (AMIS) and related applications are effectively maintained and supported. You will also play a key role in delivering high service standards and ensuring strong user satisfaction.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or equivalent experience in the Information Technology field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in application support, including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and supporting MIS-related software.
  • Proficient in T-SQL scripting and data analysis, with a strong ability to identify and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analytical skills, with hands-on experience in MS SQL database management tasks.
  • Proficient in data analytics tools such as SSRS and Power BI, with a preferred understanding of spatial data management and experience in GIS applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively respond to client requests and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision, while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
  • Adaptable and innovative, with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude toward challenges and change.
