· Previous knowledge and experience of using a CRM fundraising database.( ideally Beacon)
· Experience of managing a database system in a complex environment.

THE ORGANISATION AND THE ROLE:
On the 1st of April 2024 the Charity went through a major organisational change, converting from an unincorporated charitable trust within the governance of University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) to an independent charitable company. They are now looking to the future and the development of a new strategy to set out their vision for how they will grow their reach and impact and continue to deliver improvements to the care their local community receives.
They are now looking to appoint a Database and Insights Officer. You will be a key enabler, supporting the operations, finance, fundraising and grants teams with key data and insights. Supporting their fundraising team to help grow the charity’s income, their finance team to ensure good financial management and their grants team to support with their grant making function. The role will be a key link between all of these teams.
The role reports into the Director of Operations and Resources and is full – time ( 37.5
Hours per week). SHC offer hybrid working to provide flexibility for their staff. For this role 3
Days per week would be required in the office.
