About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a Database Architect to join our team in supporting one of the countrys premier defense research organizations. The Database Architect will execute migration projects from BW 7.5 on HANA to BW/4HANA, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption. Design, develop, test and document data integrations with source systems such as S4/HANA, BW4/HANA etc., and assist with deployment, validation and hyper care. Build and maintain ETL processes to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading into the BW/4HANA environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement best-in-class SAP BW/4HANA systems. Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for BW/4HANA systems, ensuring high availability and optimized performance.

There are a few requirements for the position:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen-Authorized to Work in the US - Must be able to obtain a Active Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
  • This position is REMOTE, but you must be willing to travel to Lexington, MA 2/4 times a year.

  • 8 years - Systems/BW4/HANA Migration experience from BW 7 systems

Nice to have:

  • Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Integration: Knowledge of integrating BW/4HANA with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and using Fiori apps for visualizations.
  • SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ): Familiarity with integrating and using SAP BOBJ tools like Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Lumira for front-end reporting.
