JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Consultant Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize Oracle database solutions. This role involves PL/SQL development, performance tuning, cloud migration, and ETL integration while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle database development and cloud technologies, ensuring data security, efficiency, and compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer working with Oracle databases.
• Strong expertise in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages.
• Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database indexing.
• Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and database design principles.
• Hands-on experience with database migration to cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Knowledge of Oracle tools such as SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and Oracle SQL Developer.
• Understanding of database security, roles, privileges, and access control.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS (3+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN):

• .NET Development
• Oracle Forms/Reports, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS for web development
• Web Services (REST/SOAP) integration
• MS Visual Studio, Toad, APEX
• XML, JSON for data interchange

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL code for Oracle databases, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, packages, and views.
• Perform query optimization and performance tuning to enhance database efficiency.
• Assist in migrating Oracle databases to cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database) with minimal disruption.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and reporting.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to define migration strategies and best practices.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation for database processes, cloud migration strategies, and coding standards.
