Job description for database developers (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a database developer (m/f/d) for our client.

Your tasks .

• Development, optimization and maintenance of database solutions.
• Creation and management of data models as well as implementation of efficient data structures.
• Development of scripts, procedures and functions in SQL and other relevant programming languages.
• Performing database migrations and upgrades.
• Ensuring data integrity, security, and availability.
• Collaboration with development teams to integrate databases into applications.
• Analysis of performance problems and implementation of optimization measures.

Your profile .

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in the development and administration of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
• Knowledge of database modeling and normalization.
• Experience with ETL processes and database queries in large datasets.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
