Tekion employs close to 3,000 people across North America, Asia and Europe. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize database solutions using MySQL or MongoDB. Write efficient SQL or backend JavaScript logic for complex business cases. Automate routine operational tasks using Python and Shell. Provide production support, on-call troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Monitor performance; improve reliability, availability, and scalability. Collaborate with Engineering/DevOps for CI/CD and deployments. (Optional) Contribute to cloud automation (AWS/Azure). Work with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef) and Jenkins. Maintain documentation, backup/recovery procedures, and security compliance. Required Skills Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/IT or equivalent. Hands-on MySQL or MongoDB (one mandatory; both is a plus). Strong Python & Shell scripting. Strong SQL or backend JS for Mongo. Experience automating DB operations. 4+ years in production support & troubleshooting. Strong analytical/problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork. Preferred Skills AWS/Azure experience. Ansible/Chef/Jenkins exposure. DevOps & infra automation knowledge. Experience with additional databases (Postgres, Redis, etc.). 2. Must-Haves and Grade/BandMust-Haves MySQL or MongoDB (hands-on, production-grade). Python and Shell scripting. Production support, on-call, RCA experience. Performance tuning, query optimization, and monitoring. Automation mindset and basic CI/CD knowledge.
