Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled Database and Reporting Developer with deep experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in C# .NET and RDL (Report Definition Language), with the ability to design, develop, and optimize database-driven reporting solutions. Success in this role means not only developing and maintaining reports but also improving the quality of incoming customer data—building jobs to scrub, clean, and finalize data for accuracy and usability. You will collaborate closely with Customer Service and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless data integration from large customers, delivering high-quality insights and reports that drive business value.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design and develop SQL-based reports, primarily using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), to support both customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional product teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain C# .NET code for enhancing and supporting our LIS SaaS-based platform, participating in full-stack development as needed.
  • Conduct analysis of healthcare financial, operational, and revenue cycle data to identify trends and actionable insights.
  • Define data schemas and ensure data integrity through processing, cleansing, and verification activities.
  • Create clear visualizations and reports that communicate findings effectively.
  • Participate in a two-week agile scrum cycle, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle—from design to deployment.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis requests and deliver insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, data quality, and application performance
