• Type: 75% Remote/Working from home and 25% travel for conferences, summits, etc.

MobilityData is hiring a Database Quality Specialist to play a critical role in improving the coverage and reliability of the Mobility Database (https://mobilitydatabase.org/ (https://mobilitydata.org/)), a globally trusted open transit data platform. This role ensures that open transit data is reliable and easy to discover for transit authorities, application developers, and researchers who are making riders’ daily lives better.
In this role, you’ll be at the frontlines of improving the Mobility Database’s international data coverage, accuracy, and freshness. You’ll investigate data issues, identify missing or outdated feeds, and collaborate directly with transit agencies to identify impactful fixes.
This role is ideal for someone who combines a technical background, a passion for public transportation, and a proactive, investigative mindset.
