REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Database Specialist / DBA.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or

Oracle).

• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis).
• Experience in database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Knowledge of replication, clustering, sharding, and partitioning.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies.
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance practices.
• Experience with Linux environments and basic shell scripting.
• Good knowledge of Git / version control and team collaboration workflows.

• Design, implement, and maintain relational and NoSQL databases.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schemas.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability across environments.
• Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and scripts for automation.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams on database design and scaling

strategies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in production and staging.
• Stay updated on emerging database technologies and best practices.
