The ideal candidate will mentor junior engineers, lead complex projects, and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of database systems. Key Responsibilities: • Advanced Database Design and Implementation: o Design and implement complex database solutions to meet business requirements. o Develop and maintain advanced database schemas, tables, indexes, and views. o Lead data integration projects using sophisticated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and techniques. • Performance Tuning and Optimization: o Conduct in-depth performance analysis and tuning for high-volume databases. o Optimize complex SQL queries and database structures for peak performance. o Lead regular performance tuning and capacity planning activities. • Maintenance and Support: o Oversee regular database maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and patching. o Ensure databases are highly available and disaster recovery plans are in place. o Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for complex database issues.
