REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years with BS/BA. An additional 4 years of experience maybe accepted in lieu of the degree
  • Experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and ETL development
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira for project tracking
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, and performance optimization
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) with at least three consecutive years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry as an LPR
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required MBI clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Databricks Data Engineer (Associate or Professional)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data projects and automated deployment strategies
  • Active MBI Clearance

This individual will be responsible for building and optimizing data pipelines, integrating diverse data sources, and enabling scalable, high performance data solutions across the organization. WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Databricks and related technologies
  • Support the development and deployment of data models and analytics solutions
  • Ensure data quality and assist with data governance and security compliance
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and data scientists to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
  • Build enterprise-scale data systems to support data analytics and reporting initiatives
  • Document data pipelines, system architecture, and technical processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer
