DATABRICKS DEVELOPER

On behalf of our client, Procom is actively seeking a Databricks Developer for a 6 month contract.

Databricks Developer Job Details

  • Design and Development: Design, develop, and deploy scalable data solutions using Databricks, ensuring best practices in data engineering and analytics.
  • Azure Integration: Integrate Databricks with Azure services such as Azure Storage and Azure Active Directory to leverage cloud capabilities.
  • Data Engineering Best Practices: Apply knowledge of best practices for designing and implementing scalable and cost-effective data solutions on Databricks, focusing on data quality, integrity, and security.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with existing data engineers to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure seamless integration of data solutions.

Databricks Developer Mandatory Skills

  • Certification in Databricks or Azure is advantageous.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering using Databricks
  • Deep understanding and experience with Databricks, including its architecture and analytics capabilities
  • Familiarity with integrating Databricks with Azure services.
  • Knowledge of best practices for designing scalable data solutions
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark. Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
