Job Title: Datacom engineer Job Location: Vienna, Austria Main Responsibilities: 1. Technical support for IP datacom equipment - covers IP, MPLS, etc. 2. Technical support for projects - project preparation, pre-sales technical support, solution development, solution testing with customers, project delivery with a delivery team, such as HLD/LLD, cutover, migration, routine network operational upgrades. 3. Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support service to the Carrier and Enterprise customers independently or together with a support L2 team 4. Support our customers from any technical perspective, maintain the good relationship with customer, be responsible for customer satisfaction. Requirements: knowledge of IP technology principles - Routers, Switches and related protocols (ARP, STP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS, etc.) familiar with Huawei router and switches, like NE, ATN, PTN, serial equipment. Cisco certification and Unix scripting (bash, python etc.) is an advantage Campus network, SD-WAN is an advantage. Capable of output network design basic on customer network and input. Capable of teamwork, cooperation with cross department internally, and externally with customer and subcontractors. Capable of output training guideline to subcontractors, workshop material with customers. Be able to work independently, be self-motivated and willing to learn Working experience at least 3 years. Education: Bachelor or higher. Language skills: English, German is preferred.
