JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development and data management, with expertise in various programming languages and data technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications and systems that enhance our data processing capabilities. The Developer will work collaboratively within an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Apache Hive, and linked data concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure Data Lake is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and tools (Informatica, Talend).
• Knowledge of database design principles with experience in Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Ability to write shell scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for automation tasks.
• Excellent analysis skills with a focus on delivering actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Experience working within an Agile development framework is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Looker is a plus.
