Your role in the team

• As a Database Administrator MSSQL (m/f/d), you ensure that our Microsoft SQL Server environment runs reliably, is available, and performs efficiently.

• The focus is on the stable operation of around 100 database instances and the further development of the platform together with your team.
• 
  
• In ongoing operations, you monitor the availability and performance of our Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• 
  
• You provide new database systems tailored to the requirements.
• 
  
• For this, you advise internal clients and clarify the specific needs.
• 
  
• Your responsibilities include managing approximately 100 database instances on physical and virtual systems.
• 
  
• For tickets and disruptions, you analyze the causes and assist with backups, restorations, upgrades, and switchovers.
• 
  
• You also plan, operate, and further develop high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• 
  
• The consolidation of individual database systems and the optimization of the platform are also part of your responsibilities.
• 
  
• You are developing the service towards Database as a Service (DBaaS) and working on technical standards, service descriptions, and SLAs.
• 
  
• With technical documentation, you record knowledge; at the same time, you work closely with IT departments and other internal contacts.
